Welcome:

I am David Terrill, a 26 year old computer animator currently living in Ohio. While in high school, I attended two technology centers and received several certifications, including Visual Communications, Multimedia based software developement, and Computer and Information Science. My first job experience was at the age of seventeen as a graphics person for an access studio in Altoona, Pennsylvania. Soon after this experience, I attended the Art Institute of Pittsburgh and obtained a degree in Computer Animation and Specialized Technology, as well as a level two certification in Alias.

I have since been the Project Leader of a special effects team in a post production studio environment. During that time, I was entrusted with major responsibilities. I was responsible for all special effects elements, both 3D and composite, for a two hour movie and a half hour episode consisting of 100% computer generated backgrounds and composite live talent. Strong communication and problem-solving skills, leadership ability, and ability to handle multiple tasks enabled me to lead my team to the completion of projects, and therefore, successfully reached my goals.

I have been using LightWave since generation one, running on an Amiga-A2000 with the Video Toaster. I have found interest in many 3D, paint, and compositing applications; however, LightWave and 3D animation is what I enjoy the most.

I am currently a Digital Artist/Web Designer for Optic-Fusion, which allows me to regularly exercise my traits of working well under pressure, paying strong attention to detail, and meeting strict deadlines.
